Taylor has been chosen to play with the Aussie Hearts, Womens team.
They will play for the Phoenix Cup, in Hong Kong, during February 2009.

As a fundraiser, Taylor's Mum Jo, has digital watches for sale, cost $20.00

 
Please note – U18s round 12 games scheduled for January 18th
are now to be played at 11.30 a.m. on Saturday the 24th January,
prior to Div 2 rounds at 2 p.m. and Div 1 at 4.30 p.m.

2008-09 Div 2 Fixtures

 
Baseball SA is serious about creating a Club Based Women’s Only Baseball Competition.
 
For season 2008/09 it is anticipated that the competition would run for 8 weeks – playing games on Friday evenings at the Northern Districts Baseball Club and the Goodwood Baseball Club.
Competition Dates – 21 & 28 November, 5 & 12 December 2008, 6, 13, 20 & 27 February 2009 with the top two teams playing off in a Grand Final on 6 March 2009.
 
A requirement to be involved would be that each participant is a playing member of a baseball club, and as such we ask clubs to give consideration to the playing fees charged to a participant involved in an 8 week season.
 
Baseball SA will schedule games, appoint umpires and administer premiership tables (as we do for all other metropolitan grades).
 
A “registration of interest to participate” will be forwarded shortly by Paul Chandler and we ask all clubs to forward this to their existing membership base.
 
Our long term vision and goal would be for each club have a women’s only team compete in a Baseball SA women’s only competition, and in this inaugural year we are looking for a minimum of four teams.
 
Upon reaching four teams Baseball SA will support and endorse a team to compete at the 2009 National Women’s Championships – Geelong Victoria – 11 to 18 April 2009.
 
Please be mindful that combined teams will also be admitted – for example if the GGCD and East Torrens Baseball Club have 5 women each interested in participating then the Golden Grove Redsox could be born.

Barry Rankine, Northern Districts Baseball Club's living history.

After playing with Internationals Baseball Club, of which he is also a Life Member, Barry Rankine moved to the Enfield Baseball Club.
Barry was involved with the amalgamation of Enfield and Prospect Clubs, to form Northern Districts. 
Northern Districts played in the first season of Summer Baseball League, 1969-70.

Barry was a member of the Minor B Premiership team. The first Premiership for the new club.




After Playing every season of the clubs existance. Thirty eight years later in the 2007-08, Barry was a member of the Div 7 Premiership team. The latest Premiership win for Northern Districts Baseball Club.
